Yesterday I took the girls to the Children's Art Festival for 3+ hours, then went on a date with Mr. Hubbs while the girls were at a sleepover. Mr. then went and picked them up this morning (while I got a little more sleep) and I took the squidges to the parade (yay!) while wearing long sleeved shirt buttoned to the top, big sunglasses, long pants, and a baseball hat (not because i was going incognito, but because I was trying to protect my poor burned skin from yesterday). Then I came home and crashed for a little bit, then we went to the carnival for a few hours. Slipped in a 15 minute power crash, THEN I went out to dinner with Sir Hubbs (He was knighted for letting me sleep in) and his parents. So glad to be able to do so many wonderful things with my family! I am paying for it big time with lots of pain, but it was worth it to me. Thank you, daughters and Sir Hubbs (aka Michael) for all you did that made it possible! I love the celebration with the community and the great family activities available with it! via Facebook
