For the first time in nearly 3 decades of sewing on a sewing machine I actually ran the needle through my finger today. That includes several years of sewing on high speed industrial machines! Of course I did fine then. But now, on my machine where the thread is breaking every 6 inches so I sew crazy slow, I managed to sew through the edge of my finger. Fortunately the needle broke AFTER it came back out. Bummer breaking that record. via Facebook
