This says I could read the entire Game of Thrones collection in 31 days. 393 days faster than the average person. Also says I could read about 215 books per year. That's about 4 books per week. Which is pretty accurate for what I go through these days! The only dumb part of this quiz is that it only allows me to admit to up to 3 hours of reading a day. If I'm actually into a series and cannot get it on audio book then I would spend far more than 3 hours in a day!

[LDS friends will understand this:] Adjusting to the idea of entirely new ward boundaries. We keep two blocks from our old ward and everything else is new! It wouldn't be so hard if I didn't remember the challenge of a similar thing happening when I was about Kate's age. I'm sure it will be a fabulous ward once we get to know people, but darn it if I don't hate change! via Facebook

SEP's for two of the kids tonight. The best one was approaching one teacher (all but one of the Jr High teachers knew Kate by sight! The PE teacher didn't, but the others knew her. Love it!) who started flipping through her papers saying "oh, I can pretty much guarantee she has an "A"... Unfortunately that was, in fact, the ONLY class she didn't have an A in, lol. The teacher was as shocked as we had been when we'd seen her grade beforehand. (Thankfully it's a simple issue that should be easily resolved). It's wonderful to hear teachers say that your child is "a joy" to have in their classes. Lizzie's teacher is awesome too. I was really happy to hear that the reports I'm getting home from the girls are pretty accurate ;) and it was good to hear that the teacher is working really well with Lizzie. She (Liz) has attention issues, but she is pretty good about discovering what is distracting her and coming up with a plan to help her cope better. This teacher has been awesome at listening to her and working with her! Sabrina didn't have PTC today, so we'll have to see what she has to say another time. I am so grateful for such awesome teachers for my kids! via Facebook

Julianne Anderson -- unfortunately still got some pretty gnarly glare off E's glasses. If I'd been spending more time I should have double checked that and adjusted angles to cut down on that glare. *sigh*. I'll finish the others tomorrow, since there are only a few. Then I'll also finish two parties worth of pics I'm supposed to be editing! After looking at some SOC photos next to photos that have been edited with just the basics (straighten/crop, brightness, color balance, levels, sharpness...) it's impossible to be okay with those SOC images! via Facebook

I have some serious ADD with photo editing lately. Edit a few from a party a week ago.... then remember this great picture I want to see the end result of from another activity..... then remember a new project my dad entrusted to me.... then decide to check and see if there's a better method to edit out this problem.... then back to that party because it was, in fact, OVER a week ago now.... then back to the one just a couple of days ago because I've got to order some prints from somethign else that's related... then edit a few from months ago because they should be printed too..... then back to the party.............. and repeat for several hours, with breaks to refill my ice water and take a nap. via Facebook

Check out this brilliant bib design! Full coverage bibs available in my cousin's Etsy shop. I'm glad to not be in that messy stage, but if I was I'd sure love these! I hated coming away from dinner with a lovely clean shirt front but filthy pants -- or having to strip the baby half down to prevent that very issue. http://ift.tt/1rj1lR6

Beautiful article written by one of my sisters-in-law. I haven't had the very same concerns or identical questions, but there are certainly parts of life where I have felt anxiety about timing I expected and/or wanted. The guiding principles she shares here have applied in my life as well. We also are grateful for the wonderful aunts Janice Southern and her twin Jennifer Southern are as they have been able and willing to go the extra mile with each of their nieces and nephews.

Way to pack and ship! Nice job Amazon.com and USPS. Lucky for them the expensive flash equipment was packed well enough in its own boxes that it was not damaged. No, I didn't remove ANY packing material in that second shot. That's exactly as not-filled as the box was. Shook like a maraca. I was NOT a happy camper. via Facebook

September 14, 2014 at 02:42PM Fake service dogs: A shame...and a crime
I have extremely strong opinions on people who fake disabilities or special needs of any sort for what they see as "benefits". Stop and think about the people who legitimately need these services or accommodations. As soon as you take on their challenges you're welcome to take a specially trained animal into the store to make sure you're safe because you require the help of an animal to get through daily life. You're welcome to park in one of those closest spaces because you physically cannot walk wherever you want to any time you want to. You're welcome to board the plane first because you cannot navigate the tight confines without significant pain or difficulty. As soon as you live every day of your life with severe inconvenience and difficulty you can hope for some extra help from others in areas that would be next to impossible without that assistance. Every time you pretend to need help you are abusing that assistance. Ever time someone knows you fake a need it makes them trust those with real need less and less. Every time you make light of real disabilities you cause problems for people who struggle to do every day things you take for granted. Do you know what it's like to need help to shower? what it's like to not be able to reach what you need at the grocery store? what it's like to be in so much pain you can barely face walking to the bathroom? what it's like to depend on an animal for companionship, assistance, or watching out for dangerous symptoms? Just wanting to have your little snookie poo with you is no reason to make life nearly impossible for all those people who understand those things too well. It's selfish, immature, and just plain wrong. Remember that next time you're going to just "run in really fast" to the store so you take the close parking spot. Or when you think it would be hilarious to play tag in those motorized carts. Or when you think it would be more convenient to carry an unnecessary cane to get priority seating on a plane. And TEACH YOUR KIDS all these things. Have a little compassion. And appreciate your healthy body! Even if you're "really sick and need to get medicine", be grateful that soon you'll be well again, as opposed to those who will not be. Please.

Just ran my face into my husband's fist. Literally. He was fixing the blankets on the bed, since the girls were playing in them earlier, so he was holding out his arms, spreading out the sheet, while i was attempting to walk past. Stationery fist right there and I walked right into it just between the eyes. Thankfully I don't walk fast, so it was not a real bump. Just a wonderfully odd moment :-P via Facebook

Michael ordered me a new pile and it arrived today!!! It weighs about 13lbs. For real. And I love it!! It's a super filled king size buckwheat hull pillow. I've been using a smaller-than-standard size bwh pillow for nearly 15 years, so this was a wonderful upgrade, especially since the small one had to be placed on top of a flattish regular pillow to get it high enough since it weathered the baby/toddler hood of the kids. I have always had a sensitive sort of neck and this is definitely the best type of pillow for me. via Facebook

I feel so bad for the poor boy who spilled punch on Kate at the dance. Apparently he had just asked her to dance and when she said yes he was so excited threw his arms up in the air to celebrate, but there was no lid on his drink and he dumped it all over her. Unfortunately after she had gotten cleaned up he was nowhere to be seen. It's okay, unknown boy! She doesn't blame you at all! Unfortunately he's not in any of her classes or anything so she can't be cool about it and let him subtly know he doesn't need to be embarrassed. via Facebook

Did the most fun 1st birthday photo shoot ever this morning! I can't believe "Baby" M is about to turn a full year old!!! He was hilariously amazing. How many 1 year olds so you know who can hold a wood letter perfectly facing the camera and just grin? He kept posing himself then looking over at me and smiling absolutely perfectly. I just spent 3 hours at the mall with my 12 year old buying a new outfit for the first school dance tomorrow. At last, that's what she thinks. Sure, she can wear it to the dance, but in my mind it's really for picture day next week ;-) I'm toast now, but at least she carried both her purse and mine (which is exponentially more substantial) and the few little bags. She also did her sweetest best massage and/out scratch my back for me frequently. via Instagram http://ift.tt/1rt0jlf

YOU'RE A PAIN MANAGEMENT CLINIC. YOU CANNOT SIMPLY SHRUG OFF MISSING PRESCRIPTION REFILLS BECAUSE "THE SYSTEM IS HAVING TROUBLE". You'd think they'd realize that the prescriptions they deal with are pretty important and probably should be top priority to have 100% perfect. The medical assistant was amazed by the idea that they change the message on the prescription refill line to warn people that they are having problems and may miss refills. I DON'T CARE that you're working on it (except that means it should eventually be fixed) I care about having more than a *desire* to trust my doctor's office. via Facebook
