This morning in my barely awake, hardly functioning state I made blueberry muffin waffles. They were *that* quick and easy! I used a package of blueberry muffin mix, added the egg, oil, and milk as called for, and baked it in the waffle iron for about 45 seconds per side (rotating Belgian waffle iron). Lighter and fluffier with a different edge texture than a regular waffle, they are more like the ultimate muffin tops (the tasty kind, not the fashion faux pas). Perfectly fluffy and moist inside.
