This just seems unfair. I was figuring that at least dealing with the frigid temps and non-stop snow would mean we had plenty of snowpack! We had at least 6" of new snow overnight and it's been flaking on and off all day. For heavens sake, we were just watching four deer in the back yard again. That should earn us a get-out-of-drought-free card for the summer, right? "This past January will go down as the coldest on record at the Salt Lake International Airport since 1949 and the first time temperatures have dipped below zero there since 2008. Some other facts to consider: it was the sixth coldest January since 1874, as well as the 13th snowiest January since that time. Reservoir storage, however, is not faring that well. From February of 2012 to February of 2013, McInerney said Pineview in Weber County is down 36 percent, Deer Creek is down 15 percent and East Canyon is down 34 percent." -Deseret News via Facebook
