Sabrina is telling me all about Arthur the King Jr. She was shocked in their discussions yesterday about civil rights and race division, etc. She really could not figure out why people would be so confused about it. I asked if she knew anybody with a different color of skin. She went through all three darker skinned students at her school before I could get her to remember that she has a cousin with dark skin. In terms of racial interaction and comfort level, I'd say she's doing very well. In terms of remembering names.... well, we'd better keep working on that. At least she didn't have Martin Luther King Jr. pulling any swords from the Lady of the Lake! via Facebook
