Whoever has kept fevered little Sabrina in their prayers, thank you! She was scorching through the night, then just a bit warm this morning. She's felt great since then and has a totally normal temp! We'll keep a close eye on her temp through the night. Such a super high, short, crazy fever! Also evidence of why I almost always wait several days before checking with a doctor *eye roll* via Facebook

When your child's temperature sounds more like an am radio station than the far end of the fm dial it's probably okay to feel a bit of mama anxiety. Alarms set to not miss another dose of alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen. 104.1 is HOT. Poor baby! via Facebook

I love technology! Specifically, today, the fact that we get weekly updates from all three niblings who are serving LDS missions right now! Yesterday I read the email from a nephew in California, then today there were messages from another nephew -- this one not too far away here in Utah, and a niece serving in Japan! I remember the short hand-written notes from my brothers. This is a whole different thing! Maybe partly because these "kids" write more (at least, compared to what I remember), or because it's easier for them to write what they're thinking? I don't know. Don't really care either.... as long as we get to keep up with what these awesome kids are up to! I also LOVE being able to email back to two of the three. I am not awesome at doing it all the time, but every few weeks at least. I have a nearly impossible time getting a hand-written letter finished, in an envelope, stamped, addresses, AND in the mail box, but emails are great :P Hooray for life in the technology age!!!! (Yeah, yeah, I know all that about the importance of hand written stuff, REAL mail, etc., but there's also something to be said about a message ACTUALLY ARRIVING. I work within my abilities ;) ) via Facebook

Kitten season already :-/ They're adorable, but there are far too many for the homes available. PLEASE spay and neuter your pets!!!! It can be done VERY inexpensively. Beyond preventing homeless animals spay/neuter has many other benefits for your pets. There's no reason not to. via Facebook
