I love technology! Specifically, today, the fact that we get weekly updates from all three niblings who are serving LDS missions right now! Yesterday I read the email from a nephew in California, then today there were messages from another nephew -- this one not too far away here in Utah, and a niece serving in Japan! I remember the short hand-written notes from my brothers. This is a whole different thing! Maybe partly because these "kids" write more (at least, compared to what I remember), or because it's easier for them to write what they're thinking? I don't know. Don't really care either.... as long as we get to keep up with what these awesome kids are up to! I also LOVE being able to email back to two of the three. I am not awesome at doing it all the time, but every few weeks at least. I have a nearly impossible time getting a hand-written letter finished, in an envelope, stamped, addresses, AND in the mail box, but emails are great :P Hooray for life in the technology age!!!! (Yeah, yeah, I know all that about the importance of hand written stuff, REAL mail, etc., but there's also something to be said about a message ACTUALLY ARRIVING. I work within my abilities ;) ) via Facebook
