In case I missed replying to any -- thank you so much for all the birthday wishes! Facebook sorts them in weird places sometimes so I don't think I'm sure I wrote back to them all, though at least I got them all in my email. It was not the most upbeat of birthdays, but it was a special day together as a family. Even with the sadness for the frailty of fragile creatures, it was good to feel close to my family -- immediate and extended. via Facebook
