Friday night we were betting Sabrina had strep. Saturday morning we were REALLY sure. Michael took her in to the Instacare to get her started on antibiotics. The rapid strep test showed up negative and he didn't know to ask them to culture it. The doctor was highly suspicious of strep anyway. Sunday Sabrina was still a bit warm so she stayed home from church and stayed home from school on Monday, but acted perfectly fine. We started wondering if it was just a virus. No symptoms for 24 hours, though, so today I let her go to school... and she came home at the end of the day wilted with a fever. Darn it! I thought I was being careful! Back to the doctor it is. I really just want it to be strep, get rid of those beastly tonsils, and be done for this poor girl! via Facebook
