Apparently this morning there was a note by the three girls (they like to sleep in the same room on non-school nights) with three eggs. This is the note (this was all secretly set up and written by Kate): We Trust you with this! dear kate, lizzie, and sabrina I have left you girls scardie eggs. these poor chicks are to afraid to hatch. you can help them. Take good care of them and set them on your dresser* for one week. if you fail to take care of them or lose them this does not count. if lost you will NOT recive a replacement. if you have taken care of them you will get a sticker. once you have seven stickers, you may open your scardie egg. lizzie, your scardie egg is yellow. kate yours is purple, sabrina Green. You each start with one sticker, good luck! <3 LOVE <3 your female easter bunny! & your male easter bunny! <3 *P.S. put on dresser before you go to bed [sic.] Note to self: remind Kate to pay attention to capitalization ;) via Facebook

If any of you local friends have kids at Sage Creek Elementary they're going to get to have a few dinosaur bones (and/or casts) in their library for a week! I absolutely love when kids get the opportunity to see and feel these things up close and personal. via Facebook

Friday night we were betting Sabrina had strep. Saturday morning we were REALLY sure. Michael took her in to the Instacare to get her started on antibiotics. The rapid strep test showed up negative and he didn't know to ask them to culture it. The doctor was highly suspicious of strep anyway. Sunday Sabrina was still a bit warm so she stayed home from church and stayed home from school on Monday, but acted perfectly fine. We started wondering if it was just a virus. No symptoms for 24 hours, though, so today I let her go to school... and she came home at the end of the day wilted with a fever. Darn it! I thought I was being careful! Back to the doctor it is. I really just want it to be strep, get rid of those beastly tonsils, and be done for this poor girl! via Facebook

The physical tasks are more like "I used to be able to .../ I know the proper way to...". The ones involving alcohol are just beyond my personal experience. The ones involving negotiating money are beyond my emotional abilities. I hate talking money! Besides all that... I really ought to learn how to tie a man's tie. I kinda know, but not well enough to send someone out the door in it. Maybe i have all daughters for a reason ;-)

Had a wonderful day visiting friends we have missed and holding their brand new baby... and just a few hours later Sabrina has a fever. Shoot! On account of whatever germ sharing occurred and because I really hope it's not strep for the fourth time this year. Poor little :-( via Facebook
