I just saw this and it made me laugh. **DEAR TECH SUPPORT: Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed that the new program began making unexpected changes to the accounting modules, limiting access to flower and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.9 but installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0 and NBA 3.0. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and HouseCleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. --Desperate*** Dear Desperate, Keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Try to enter the command: C:/ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and install Tears 6.2. Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications: Guilty 3.0 and Flowers 7.0. But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to GrumpySilence 2.5, Happyhour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will create "Snoring Loudly" wave files. DO NOT install MotherInLaw 1.0 or reinstall another Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0 In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. Consider buying additional software to improve performance. I personally recommend HotFood 3.0 and Lingerie 5.3. Good Luck! Tech Support** via Facebook

At the pharmacy this afternoon I finally had to quietly key a woman in that her 5(?) year old son standing right next to her had worked a hole in a bag of peanut butter cups and was shoving them in his pocket, then stepping around a corner and eating them. After he opened a second bag (his little bro had moved the first one he opened) and she still hadn't noticed, I decided I'd better give her the chance to make good on it before they got in bigger trouble! via Facebook
November 30, 2012 at 03:12PM No More Fibromyalgia
I'm sharing this because it is so mis-understood. I'm sure you all know at least one other person who is dealing with fibro also and has probably been accused of the pain being "all in their head" because it is not a normal mechanism in the body. Every fibro person needs someone who understands this.

i had to record this because it was so unintentionally hilarious. lizzie [taking a bite of easy mac]: "this is so hot on so many levels". perhaps she means it burned her mouth when she took a bite both in the kitchen when she made it *and* when she brought it to the family room to finish it? ;) i was an awesome mom and didn't even laugh out loud. via Facebook

I've been using what energy I had this morning to wrap some Christmas presents. I just had to make sure they are all put away before the kids get home. About 5 times throughout the day I had that startling realization that I have to leave to pick the girls up today, so I'd have to remember to clean everything up even earlier. (yes, it can still be a startling realization the 5th time. welcome to my life.) So here I am listening to an audiobook and wrapping away... when I looked up at the big clock above the fireplace and saw it was 15 minutes before I had to be at the school! I hurried and gathered everything up. I got it properly hidden, and checked for any telltale hints left out. I was hurrying out the door when I realized I didn't have my purse! So I ran back in moving much quicker that I should have been. It took over 5 minutes of searching to find my neglected purse. I jumped in the van and headed to the school, several minutes later than I had wanted to leave. As I left the neighborhood I glanced at the clock in the van to estimate how late I would be. And THAT is when I remembered that I still need to adjust the clock on the wall above the fireplace. Now I'm back home taking a break before I actually have to leave to be on time. via Facebook

ah, this is the other half of what having a cat around is for. 1st is for entertainment value, which ginger and Sierra are brilliant at. 2nd is for pinning your feet down just as you were really meaning to go to bed, but clearly cannot now, since a cat is holding then down. my biggest concern now is of overheating. phew, she warmed me up quick! via Instagram http://instagr.am/p/ShS0hgBLZE/

given any option, DO NOT buy an acer laptop. the keyboard is the worst possible design for consumers. the first button fell off mine 2 days after i got this thing. the tiniest crumb gets under keys and makes them stick, break, or not depress. michael ordered me a replacement keyboard which was fortuitously in the mailbox when i disastrously spilled a bit of ramen on it this morning. unfortunately, acer has made it all but impossible to replace the keyboard, and in attempting to do so the itty bitty clips broke. i am now using an on screen keyboard which is a royal pain! (I know my phone would be much easier, but then I'd have to pause my audiobook, and that's just harsh ). via Facebook

sometimes I amaze myself. so my keyboard is freaking out. bummer . at least i'm listening to an audiobook through YouTube. but then YouTube freezes up. no problem I'll just refresh the page. hmmm, still frozen. Okay, just close the browser and start again! wait!!!! I can't type the search parameters! bad move. hmmm, computer is still moving sluggishly. it's been a few days since I rebooted it.... [I brilliantly reboot my computer] oh for heavens sake. I have my computer password protected! I am feeling very un-clever this morning. via Facebook

Wow, Ginger is big time FREAKING OUT now that Sammi is getting a bit more comfortable. You multiple cat folks -- any tips or tricks? I didn't expect there to be any problems, but Ginger refuses to even come upstairs, and hissed when Sammi tried to come down the stairs. In fact, Ginger wouldn't even come up for stinky time!!! (a spoonful of wet cat food) and that is MAJOR. Nothing gets in the way of stinky time. via Facebook

Christmas? Bring it on :) There are a few tidbits I'd like to pick up in the next month, but nearly all the shopping is DONE. I didn't deal with any excessive lines or rude people and I got a reasonable amount of sleep last night! We have a 2 year old niece who is particularly shy. Kate decided some months ago that she wanted to make friends with B. Every single time we are at a gathering with that family Kate has specifically gone to talk to little B and make an effort to help her be comfortable and make friends. This last week Kate found some fabric and used my sewing machine to make a blanket for B. Today we saw her again at Thanksgiving dinner. Miss B was predictably nervous about the blanket. Kate persevered. She spent pretty much the entire time we were there focused on making friends with B and making sure she was happy. She even managed to play with B in a totally separate room from B's Mom/Dad and favorite two Aunts. Trust me, that's HUGE, lol. I am so impressed by her special love for her shy little cousin. Apparently another cousin came over (when they were in the next room) and tried talking to B and she went over to cuddle against Kate. Next time she'll be starting over almost from scratch, but I love to watch her refine this skill of comforting children and being aware of special needs to build bonds of trust and love. What a great little babysitter she's going to be! via Facebook

Today's Tender Mercy: My fatigue levels are ridiculous today. I managed to drag myself out of the house to take M's car in for registration. I had to wait while the car was checked out. So I schlepped in to the waiting room. There was a little yorkie / pom mix puppy. She came and curled up on my lap the whole time i was waiting. She looked a lot like the pup I grew up with who was so calming through stressful times. It was like a beautiful ray of sunshine. It's business, and it's personal. That's why I love our neighborhood Ream's grocery store! We've been going there for several years now, and I don't remember any experiences with rude or uncaring employees. Most of the cashiers have been there for ages, but even the teenage workers are kind. They sell and feature a large variety of local items and encourage buying local. I've never before asked a favor of the butcher in a store, but here they've gone out of their way to help me get exactly what I'm looking for. I don't do 100% of my shopping there, but we are there pretty much 6 days a week! via Facebook

Requiring decent snow gear is a recipe for creativity here. For some reason all the snow gloves seem to have broken up over the warmer months. Everybody has only one. This afternoon Sabrina tried to go out wearing one snow glove and one plastic glove. The kind worn for food prep. Meanie Mommy made her add something warm. When she went outside she wore a knit glove covered with the waterproof food prep glove. via Facebook
