September 29, 2014 at 07:46PM How long would it take you to read Game of Thrones?

This says I could read the entire Game of Thrones collection in 31 days. 393 days faster than the average person. Also says I could read about 215 books per year. That's about 4 books per week. Which is pretty accurate for what I go through these days! The only dumb part of this quiz is that it only allows me to admit to up to 3 hours of reading a day. If I'm actually into a series and cannot get it on audio book then I would spend far more than 3 hours in a day!

[LDS friends will understand this:] Adjusting to the idea of entirely new ward boundaries. We keep two blocks from our old ward and everything else is new! It wouldn't be so hard if I didn't remember the challenge of a similar thing happening when I was about Kate's age. I'm sure it will be a fabulous ward once we get to know people, but darn it if I don't hate change! via Facebook

SEP's for two of the kids tonight. The best one was approaching one teacher (all but one of the Jr High teachers knew Kate by sight! The PE teacher didn't, but the others knew her. Love it!) who started flipping through her papers saying "oh, I can pretty much guarantee she has an "A"... Unfortunately that was, in fact, the ONLY class she didn't have an A in, lol. The teacher was as shocked as we had been when we'd seen her grade beforehand. (Thankfully it's a simple issue that should be easily resolved). It's wonderful to hear teachers say that your child is "a joy" to have in their classes. Lizzie's teacher is awesome too. I was really happy to hear that the reports I'm getting home from the girls are pretty accurate ;) and it was good to hear that the teacher is working really well with Lizzie. She (Liz) has attention issues, but she is pretty good about discovering what is distracting her and coming up with a plan to help her cope better. This teacher has been awesome at listening to her and working with her! Sabrina didn't have PTC today, so we'll have to see what she has to say another time. I am so grateful for such awesome teachers for my kids! via Facebook

Julianne Anderson -- unfortunately still got some pretty gnarly glare off E's glasses. If I'd been spending more time I should have double checked that and adjusted angles to cut down on that glare. *sigh*. I'll finish the others tomorrow, since there are only a few. Then I'll also finish two parties worth of pics I'm supposed to be editing! After looking at some SOC photos next to photos that have been edited with just the basics (straighten/crop, brightness, color balance, levels, sharpness...) it's impossible to be okay with those SOC images! via Facebook
