THIS is why we are excited to foster kitties. (This is me with Jamie's cat's babies!) Besides, they're so fun when they're babies and it's something I can do while sitting at home cuddling kittens ;) If anybody is considering adopting a kitten, the group I'm fostering for (CAWS) is wonderful. Super excited -- we're going to attempt the fostering thing again, but this time with baby kitties instead of an adult cat. I'm going to go pick up a litter of 4 motherless kittens who need socialization and love in just a couple of hours! No, the girls don't know yet :P They'll be living in Kate's room for now and gradually being introduced to Ginger and Sierra. Praying it works out this time! via Facebook

Bits from a conversation I just had via IM with hubs: Me: I'm sitting upstairs listening to a book and using my computer. I kept hearing loud crashing noises downstairs. At first I thought a cat had knocked something over, but it happened a couple more times so I figured I'd better check it out. Petey (the black and white cat) was hanging out just outside the windows out back and Ginger kept running from window to window, crashing the blinds open to keep an eye on the rascally cat. Ginger desperately wants to go out to play, lol. She keeps sticking her nose right next to any crack and breathing hard to catch a whiff. It's pretty hilarious. Michael: So this morning at 5 AM when I came out to feed the fish I heard talking downstairs. I am thinking "What the heck, is Kate up watching TV?". So I went downstairs and the TV is off but there is sound coming from the computer speakers. So I turn the TV on and there is Hulu playing some show. What the heck Hulu, you are just starting random shows in the middle of the night now? I suspect paranormal activity. via Facebook
