Just ran a couple of errands in Micheal's broken car. One mile is long enough to run the temperature gauge to the peg. I had a quick sphincter check (all functioning!) when the car died halfway through a left turn. Found some killer deals at Ream's today -- half gallons of Russell's ice cream for $1.99!!! They're running some awesome deals today and tomorrow with random "wacky sales" tonight. I was walked out to my car and the groceries all loaded in for me by the bagger, which is the first time that has happened for years! It was greatly appreciated. via Facebook

Anybody happen to have the fix-it book for an early 1980's Chevy Celebrity? Michael's car threw a temper tantrum yesterday and now we're down a car. Which really stinks since his commute recently went from 10 minutes to 20+. The radiator is the problem. Fan isn't coming on, I think? Yes, it's an old car. Yes, we'd love to have a newer one. But right now we're paying more to keep me a contributing member of society than it would cost for payments on a nice car. Yeah, we could buy the book, but it's over $20 and I would love to not have to pay that. via Facebook

Self:"you have got to go to bed! It's all quiet and dark and must be way past your bedtime. If you don't go right now you're not going to get to read your book!" Self finally gets up and gets ready for bed. House check, done. Kid check, done. Look at the clock... "what on earth?! It's only 10:00!" Self is now taking medicines and will read without guilt until going cross-eyed, at which point Self will go to sleep. :-) via Facebook
