Two hours with the kids all out to play at friends' houses and a quiet house... just what I needed. And to make it better, hubs left work a touch early so he could pick up the one who is further away so I didn't have to get back in the car! Silence is one thing I miss about summer time. I am the classic introvert who needs some quiet time regularly to keep going. via Facebook

I am a good mom because I took my daughter to her friend's birthday party, all ready to swim, wrapped present in hand. (We'll ignore the fact that I forgot to pick her up until she called me 20 minutes after pick-up time.) via Facebook
