Sabrina (Note: Mrs. Clark was Sabrina's 1st grade teacher, Kate's 4th grade teacher previously, and yes, fantastic): "Is Mrs. Clark famous or something? Because she's always Teacher of the Year and stuff, *and* she's on books (holding up a novel by Mary Higgins Clark) AND I was at the bathroom in school once and it said "Kimberly Clark" on the toilet paper!!!" via Facebook

By the way, friends, the litter of kittens we have been fostering are now available for adoption! Two of them are in the process of being adopted, there is apparently someone who wants to get another of them, and there was some interest in the fourth, but I don't know if that's serious or not. When these are gone if we feel we can keep up on getting the kittens where they need to be we are hoping to take in a new litter. If any of you have ever been interested in adopting a cat or dog, we have been very impressed with the group we're fosterng for: CAWS - Community Animal Welfare Society. via Facebook

Seriously, I have the entirety of the internet at my finger tips and I STILL am having a near-impossible time finding the details on how to properly place 2013 BSA Jamboree patches!!!!!!!!!!! There are a gazillion websites, apps, PDFs, etc. about patch TRADING, but nothing but the very simplest diagram for bare-bones placement. Do I remove all the 2010 Jamboree patches? I assume so. Then the rectangle one goes in place of the previous circular one... but what the heck do I do with this "amateur radio operator" patch?! And WHY do they think it's brilliant to put patches ON pockets?!?!?!?!?!? Do you know how hard it is to hand sew on one of these patches, which I can only assume has been reinforced with adamantium?! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, I think I can breathe again. Seriously, though, can't we get some detailed instructions? Men: admit that you're not attaching these yourselves and get around to making something helpful for us to follow. I really don't mind doing it (in this case, that is), I just want to know if I'm doing it right! via Facebook
