This is some of what the full sleep study looks like. The quantity of hair I have complicated matters and they had to get creative, putting my hair into two braids rather than the usual single one they do for everyone else. via Instagram http://instagram.com/p/Z-mMIKBLYM/

Spent hundreds of dollars to take a test last night, then slept through most of it. . . . Thankfully that was okay since it was a full overnight polysomnogram (sleep study done in a clinic with about 500 wires stuck all over me). via Facebook

I bought a book of super simple mazes (like, toddler type) from the dollar section at Target the other day. The girls have had a wonderful time using my sewing machine to sew along the maze paths. It's been a good practice of speed, handling the presser foot, looking ahead, changing directions, etc. Next time I'm going to need to get more complex mazes for them! via Facebook

So far, the first week of summer has been very wet. Lots of rain and hail today! It was really great to start the summer off with the weekend reunion at my sister's house. Yesterday we got home around 5pm. I promptly fell asleep. M woke me to take my meds, and I went back to sleep until this morning! I wish this week wasn't so busy, but at least it's summer break :) via Facebook

We are going on our first ever family vacation! All five of us, and not even work related! The closest we've been is a whirlwind weekend in California several years back for a wedding. This is a family reunion, still just a couple of days, and not outside of Utah, but we're still very excited. If you heard the girls talk about it you'd think we were headed for a month at Disneyland in an exotic location where they will ride elephants and pilot space shuttles! via Facebook

This afternoon, for the first time in quite a while, I decided to lie down for an hour or so. I fell dead asleep for a couple of hours and in the mean time got more texts / message / IM's / etc. than I've had all week! I slept through them all and awoke feeling very needed ;) via Facebook

4 of our 5 fruit trees we planted last spring are looking good. The cherry tree, though (Bing) seems to have not made it past the long, frigid winter :( As the other trees were swelling, leafing, and budding, the cherry tree started to kinda start plumping up (where the leaves would come out), then it just kinda quit. 0 leaves. Anybody have any other suggestions or input? I suspect we'll have to replace the tree. Any suggestions on type of cherry tree? should we have tried a different variety? Our trees are semi-dwarf and 10 feet (?) apart. Is pollination an issue? I thought we covered all those questions when we got the trees last year, but maybe not? via Facebook

My mothers day present finished getting here! It's a set of very un subtly requested nail polishes. (I didn't require then for mothers day, just for "sometime") these have brush inside and super fine pen tips at the end. See? I put stripes and flowers on my fingernails already :-) any of my nieces wanna come play? ;-) (I also have a bonder and a gel topcoat complete with light to set it, though I've had the light for a year or so. This means that the polish stays put much better.) via Instagram http://instagram.com/p/ZlvFveBLfB/

May 19, 2013 at 04:53PM LDS Living - What LDS General Authorities Say About Their Wives
I don't care what religion (or non-religion) you believe in, this is wonderful. This makes my heart smile. And more so because my husband is like these men. I have heard him talk to others about me in these ways and it always makes me feel like loved and appreciated. And a little bit like a newlywed again. I also know that when I gush about my wonderful husband to others it me focus on the good in him and the many ways I appreciate him. Love someone? Don't only tell that person, but tell others as well! Spread the sunshine :) Tell your kids about the things you love about your spouse. Tell your friend about the wonderful things you appreciate about your children. Tell your spouse about the things you love about his (or her) parents. Pretty soon you'll start to see how many absolutely amazing people surround you! http://www.ldsliving.com/story/72475-what-lds-general-authorities-say-about-their-wives?page=1

Just got home from running some errands, completely exhausted. I was heading to take a nap, but realized I'd only seen two of the four kittens so far today. After 20 minutes of checking behind every closed door I was headed for yet another round of the house... And this is what I found. This couch was handed down from a cat home so our cats are most likely to give this one grief. Ages ago they manage to pull out a few staples under this arm of the couch. It appears that the wayward kittens were hiding inside the couch upholstery the whole time! via Instagram http://instagram.com/p/ZYnHAfhLdY/
